Monday October 17, 2011 - Sunday October 23, 2011
The West Haven Chamber of Commerce and GoNation.com are proud to announce the 2nd annual West Haven Restaurant Week. This exciting event will take place October 17th through the 23rd.
Whether you're a restaurant or a patron, we've got a great week in store for you!
Settled in 1648, West Haven started out as part of the original New Haven colony and remained so until 1822 when it and North Milford combined to form the town of Orange. The two remained a single entity until 1921 when West Haven officially split to become a separate town. Fittingly, West Havens first business venture was a shoe company foot in the door for all the great things that it has since evolved into. Now home to over 115 restaurants, bars, cafes and eateries, West Haven is a small community with a big heart.
Please join us in our celebration of this special city with the opportunity to visit some of its wonderful restaurants and sample their delightful cuisines at discounted prices. We hope that you will take advantage of this special event, and we know that in doing so you will be sure to find something for every taste and every budget! Some of the restaurants already participating in this event include Saray Authentic Turkish Restaurant, American Steakhouse, Uncle Willie's BBQ, Duffy's Tavern and many more!
